New Zealand
NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand has many interesting holiday. Christmas holiday is one of them. On 26 December there's a carnival at Car0lain Bay. It's great for familys to spend their holiday here. It has air trampolin, bungee jumping, mini train and various kinds of contest or concert. That's h
ow New Zealand people spend their Christmas.
Japan
In Japan Christmas is for lovers. Many couple would go to town to see illumination. They exchange their presents and have dinner together. It's different from New year's holiday ｗｈｉｃｈis for familys. Ｎｅｗｙｅａｒ'ｓ day is much more importont for us. We go back our pearents' s home and eat special food ｌｉｋｅ rice cake, osechi. Ｍｏｓｔ of them are Japanese food. Eating them sometimes mean our wish ｔｏ live a long life.
Boxing Day (My speech)
Boxing Day is for postmen who delivered many presents on Christmas. People give them some gift to show their gratitude on December 26. On this day people have big sales so they have no time to rest after they enjoyed their party.
It is also said that church gather some money from reach people for buying pour people’s presents and this is the day when they opened presents. Boxing came from this custom. But nowadays people are more likely rash into shops to buy whatever left after Christmas season. Like Christmas many people want to enjoy this day.
Those sales are taken place in many countries like Australia, America, England, and so on… But in Japan many shops would soon change their products for New Year’s Day. Cues many Japanese spend their New Year’s Day in Japanese stile so many shops change pretty Christmas goods to gorgeous New Year’s goods.
Boxing Day is also called St.Stephen’s Day. St Stephen is killed by Jewish people, because he called Christ as a son of God.
This custom seems to start in England. So it’s possible that this custom spread to New Zealand while this country was part of England.
New Zealanders tend to go shopping with their family on this day, Because They buy a lot of goods which is discounted very cheap. So they need hands to carry them to their houses. Big departments are much clouded and there are some troubles every ear.
On the other hand Japanese people’s mind immediately change to their next event-New Year’s Day soon after Christmas is over. So they might be busy with writing their New Year’s cards.

Wine Festival (My speech)
I'm going to tork about history of wine festival.
Why this festival started?
Tokati aria was suffered by low temperature.
People attempted to grow grapes which are strong to low temperature.
Then they tried to make their wine more popular with holding wine festival.
Why this festival started?

Marutani Kneyasu set up wine committee.
And he got license of wine maker.
He even got a bronze medal at the contest in Budapest.
This festival is glowing bigger and bigger.variety of wine was increased. side menus are also important part of this festival. They are trying to get good cheese for their great wine. That's all about the history. Thank you for listening.

France and Spain is particularly famous for good and variety of wine. becase those countries started making wine earlier age. so they have long history of making great wine. so they are pride of their own wine.

MOVIE
I have seen a lot of moves. But I think best of all is Tonarinototoro. It's a Japanese animationmovie. It's Miyazaki Hayao's work and one of the famous of his works. This story is start with a family -father, mother (being ill in the hospital) and tow sisters moving to a lovely country side where cute fairy totoro dusty matukurokurosuke live and fantastic things constantly happen to them. One day younger sister Mei was lost. Her sister was deadly worried about it and asked totoro for help. Then she finally found her by riding nekobas which was never seen by adult.

My favorite scene is that father and his daughters find a big tree which seems being there for a long time. It’s seemed to me that it’s a god of the forest. I hope I have a tree like this in my town. It would be wonderful to see such a great tree every day. Another favorite scene is that tow sisters run around their house to find a stars which leads to an attic. They shout at many matukurokurosukes and they made a funny song about them.
There is fanny scene in this movie. One day Mei followed tow little totoros. At first they tried to escape from her. But she never gave up chasing them and finally she found the place where a big totoro is sleeping. Big totoro described his name with his big mouth.
I love this move because I long for a country life. And those tow sisters always remind me of the fantastic day which I and my sister did nothing but play with in a park or play with our dolls without any worry about our studies. Also I like this beautiful picture of the move. All the lovely characters make me happy every time I see this move.

summer
Summer
This summer I went to UK in our studying-school trip for about a month. It became a great experience for me. For first three weeks I did home stay in Bath which was very beautiful city and I took many picture of those building. I liked shopping there after school. Especially I loved to shop at M&S which has many interesting ingredients. I was surprised to see many kinds of cereal and ready made food. I found mushy peas are good so I bought a can for souvenir. There are also historic place in Bath. I visited Roman Bath where I could see old bath but its water was dirty and greenish. My teacher explained that it’s because of mineral.
One day I visited StoneHenge during my stay in Bath. At first I haven’t expected any great thing from it. I thought there’re just stones. But those are standing so impressibly looked like things I have to give my honor. I learned those stones are carried from far away many ears ago.
I also visited Bristol which was having ship festival. I could see many ships on the river side. And I eat a chicken hamburger sold at a stand. It was very good. Bristol abbey was so impressing. It has great stained grass and big pipe organ. I hoped to hear this sound. But at the end of the travel I got tired and my leg was sore. Because Bristol has many ups and down. Add to this fact, I tried to climb up a hill in the park. View from its top was of course nice but it really helped my leg’s pain grow.
My host mother was nice and kind. She always made a lunch for me. This was sandwich wish an apple. I love a little apple which I don’t need to cut and I could eat wish its peel. Now I missed it. Only apples I can get in Japan is too big to bring to school as a lunch. My host mother loves drama. Therefore we always watched them after dinner. Those stories are complicated but she explained it to me. It helped me improve my English skill.
